Last week I tweeted that one of my doctoral students was giving a presentation in class using some of the material from my new book, The Big Book of Literacy Tasks. I thought I would share the lesson she was using to teach her colleagues in the doctoral course. Sara Soria shared the lesson, her group was teaching a concept from Peter Senge on one of the five disciplines of system thinking.
They used a lesson about clarifying meaning from my book. You can use this lesson also when working with students to clarify meaning for themselves after they have read a book or text.
